You can call me optimistic but I am enjoying every second of it, whether it is online learning or teaching. I believe it is the future and the new way moving forward in the world. We should not limit ourselves to be present in institutions to learn because learning can happen anywhere you are, even at home.

Let me start with my online teaching experience. As I mentioned in a blog post, that I was kind of ready for that change. I was already preparing PowerPoints for my classes at school and already using a lot of virtual labs and simulations to make my lessons more interesting. So when COVID hit, nothing changed concerning the lesson preparation part. In fact, that particular time gave me the chance to stand out because it was my first year teaching and I was working extra hard to prove myself. So being good with technology and different websites and apps payed off during that time where everyone was struggling. This is why I do believe that everything happens for a reason and the reason for me was, God showing me that I was capable of so much more that I thought.

Now because everything in the world went digital, I decided to pursue my teaching diploma in LIU. It was and still is a very good experience. I am learning so much and it can totally substitute learning face to face. I literally can't see any added value other than socializing. A part of me don't want us to go back to normal or want us to keep online learning as an option for the students. Also if it weren't for that option this year at LIU, I wouldn't even thought about perusing any diploma. This way of living gave me so much flexibility and I like the fact that I can learn and work at the same time.
